The South Florida community is buzzing with anticipation as the very first yearly charity concert, "First Day Back," is just around the corner. Presented by Speak Your Truth Records, a local collective of musicians and artists from North Fort Myers to Marco Island, the event aims to give back to the community, while supporting the education of disadvantaged students in the region. The primary focus of this event is collecting school supplies for those in need for the new school year. This musical extravaganza promises to bring together residents from all demographic regions of Collier County for a night of music, fun, and charitable giving.

"First Day Back" has become a much-awaited tradition for the South Florida community, particularly known for its commitment to supporting local causes and empowering the youth. The charity concert will be held at the esteemed On A Roll Film Lab of Naples, located at 2740 Bayshore Dr. Ste 9, Naples, Florida 34112. Doors will open on Saturday, August 12th, from 7:00 PM to 11:00 PM.

The best part? Entry to this lively event is completely free with a simple yet impactful requirement: attendees are asked to bring either school supplies or clothing for the students as their donation. All contributions received will be distributed to the YMCA of Collier County, ensuring that those students in need will have the necessary tools and resources to excel in their academic journey.

"We wanted to create an event that will not only bring joy to the community through music but will also make a tangible difference in the lives of students who might be facing unseen challenges when starting the new academic year," said Francisco Mendez, a Marco Island native and artist from Speak Your Truth Records. "Education is the key to a brighter future, and by coming together, we can empower these young minds, and show them that their community will stand with them."

As the doors open, attendees can expect to be greeted with an array of sounds, all provided by J.E.T DJ Entertainment Company, promising an unforgettable musical experience. Local small independent businesses will also have their time to shine, as Lovr Boys Coffee and Treats, and Caribbean BBQ from Lee Meal set up shop to offer delicious treats and refreshments throughout the night.

The event not only aims to collect much-needed funds and supplies but also aims to create a sense of togetherness and community among Southwest Florida residents. With attendees sharing in the spirit of giving, the atmosphere is expected to be filled with positivity and camaraderie, reflecting the true essence of a close-knit community.

So mark your calendars and make your way to "First Day Back" on August 12th, at On A Roll Film Lab Of Naples. Come with open hearts and arms full of school supplies and clothes. Your contribution will make a significant impact on the lives of all your young locals. Let's join hands and make this year's charity concert a roaring success for the Southwest Florida community.
